1 year ago • 0 notesIm experimenting with an online music shop. i’ve started with 4 different online stores, Play, Amazon, Ebay and Free web store. I’m trying all 4 to see which provide the most sales and work out cost effective. please visit all 4 because for now i will be placing different stock on each. I will be mainly selling Alternative music from labels such as ATP Recordings, Rock Action, Leaf Label, Southern and Ipecac amongst others. I will aim to provide the cheapest price available online and instore. The more units I sell, the cheaper the retail price so please shop away. All this is located in the shop page. http://www.thetaskinhand.co.uk/shop.html

So Say So
With the diversity of popular music at an all time low it´s the bands who don´t follow the same formula that really stick out. While SoSaySo take their song writing cues from pop greats, mixing intriguing verses with irresistible choruses, it’s the multilayered orchestration between synth, violin, guitar and vocals that creates their evocative, euphoric, sometimes raucous, brand of `epic-pop´ so engaging and so different from their contemporaries.

Between Us And The Fire
formed over a year ago between us and the fire combine the musical sensibilities of five worcester based high school buddies, (and still partying together 10 years on). having recently recorded their debut demo, comprising three tracks from their already established repertoire, they are currently exploring gig opportunities throughout the uk. drawing on the influences as far as battles, low and efterklang; they punctuate post-rock melodrama with unrelenting kraut-rock melodies. dynamic vocals propelled by arresting guitars and magnetic synths.

Rich Clarke
When observing a performance by Richard T Clarke one has to make a suitable excuse for the vast amount of uncontrollable ‘girly’ emotion pouring … nay … gushing out after hearing his amazingly moving pieces. The classic: “I’ve just got something in my eye” usually suffices, as Richard tugs at our heart strings with honest Old-London-Taan folk! Y-tooth combs at the ready and maybe a box of Man-size tissues, or the shoulder of a sympathetic bystander.
